Because of Winn-Dixie Party Reenactment - 4th Grade

We had a Because of Winn-Dixie party reenactment after doing a unit with the novel. Egg salad sandwiches with fancy toothpicks, a BIG jar of dill pickles, Gloria Dump's dump punch, Littmus Lozenges (Brach's root beer barrels & strawberry candy with a touch of melancholy because an awesome school year is ending), peanut butter sandwiches for Winn-Dixie's love of peanut butter (no allergies in my room). The kids used yellow, orange & pink streamers to decorate the room along with some dog coloring pages that name character traits of dogs.
The students did the decorating. We watched the movie, too! Fun day!!!!!
