Pastries for Parents - February 7, 2020
Have you ever wondered why snow is white? This was the topic of discussion during the Pastries for Parents event on Friday, February 7th. Students and their guests had pastries and juice in the elementary gym. There were many snow and winter themed books available to read while everyone enjoyed their treats. Then our guests and students continued the fun in a classroom.
There they watched a Mystery Science video and made a snowflake using glue and wax paper. Families could even extend their learning by completing the Family Project with STEM.
