WCES Summer Reading Postcards

West Central Elementary celebrated students for diving into stories and books over the summer.
Students who turned in a completed Summer Reading Postcard could choose a free book, a bookmark, and a treat bag! Awesome job, readers!
We also hosted an Ice Cream Party for students who participated in the Henderson County Library’s reading program, “Reading On Island Time.” Stacy and Loreena, from the library, joined us for dilly bars, ice cream sandwiches, and bomb pops. All enjoyed the sweet treats to celebrate their reading success over the summer.
A huge thank you goes to the Monmouth Dairy Queen for donating the dilly bars and ice cream sandwiches!
