5th Grade Safety Day
5th grade students from West Central attended Safety Day on September 20th. This annual event is held in Stronghurst and is sponsored by the Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau. Students received education on may topics including how to stay safe online, the importance of wearing seatbelts, general first-aid, drug awareness, stranger danger, water, fire, animal, farm, railroad, and atv safety. Lunch is always free and delicious and everyone gets a free t-shirt.
The students learned a lot and had a great time!
