College Visits

The following colleges will be visiting WCHS during the students' lunch hour:
9/24: Truman State
9/26: MacMurray College
9/27: Carl Sandburg-Galesburg
9/18: Marine Corp.
Please encourage your child to talk to the college or military visitors during their lunch period if they are interested in learning more about the college.
If you have scheduled a college visit at a school you need to get a College Visit form from Miss Nelson, and a Pre-arranged Absence form from the High School Office. Both forms need to be signed by the student's teachers. The College Visit Form needs to be signed by a college representative during your visit- and then turned in to the High School upon return.
College Visits play an important part in helping your child choose the school that is the best fit for them- and they are encouraged! Juniors are allowed 1 visit per year. Seniors are allowed 2 visits per year.
