Looking for a class that is tailored to your interests?
Need a challenge?
Then dual credit courses may be for you! Dual credit courses offer students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit. West Central currently partners with Carl Sandburg College, Western Illinois University, and Iowa Wesleyan University to provide dual credit opportunities to students.
Carl Sandburg College offers a variety of courses that students participate in completely online. Your student can meet with Miss Nelson to discuss which course may be the best fit for them.
Western Illinois University is offering their first course with us, on our high school campus, during second semester (beginning in January-May). This course will be an Accounting course offered 7th hour. Your student should meet with Miss Nelson if interested.
Iowa Wesleyan University is offering a second math course this year. This course is online. The course is a math course- Elementary Statistics. Megan Hills is the instructor.
Deadlines:
Carl Sandburg enrollment is due to Miss Nelson by Tuesday, October 30th!
Students interested in WIU course need to let Miss Nelson know by Friday, November 2nd!
Iowa Wesleyan math enrollment is due by Thursday, November 15th!
