Southeastern Community College is hosting a College Fair!
Date: Tuesday, October 9
Time: 9:30AM-11:00AM
Place: SCC Loren Walker Arena (West Burlington, IA campus)
Students and Parents may visit with over 40 representatives from Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Minnesota and Nebraska. Along with the universities, there will be community colleges, technical schools, and military institutions in attendance. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn about numerous colleges. You may find an option you hadn't previously considered.
College Fair Automation will allow students to pre-register online before attending the fair. Entering your information one time allows the student to elaborate on special interests, extra-curricular activities, and accomplishments. After completing the online registration the student will print and bring the barcoded pass to the fair. College reps scan the barcode to receive student data. As the student takes the barcode from booth to booth, he/she will have more time to discuss academic information, background and future goals with the college rep. Students have complete control of their barcode, if they want to receive info. from a certain college- have them scan the code. If a student does not have anyone scan the code- NO ONE will get their information. If they just have a question, but don't want information sent to them- don't have the college scan the code.
