Meal Distribution Mandated Request

Due to health and safety concerns with the afternoon meal distribution, particularly in Oquawka, we need to request that all families remain in their vehicle during that distribution time. Our staff will bring the meals to your vehicle to distribute them. In Oquawka, we will have vehicles begin lining up heading west behind the bleachers on Knox Street. The line will wind around to Seventh Street, to Hancock Street, then to North 6th Street if necessary. We will have each vehicle pull up once the vehicle in front of you has moved forward. I have shared a map with your email and on our District Website and Facebook page for your reference. We understand this may take a little more time and patience, but to ensure the health and safety of our staff and students as well as all of you, it is absolutely essential that this mandated request be followed. We want to be able to continue to provide meals for those who have signed up for them at a location that is accessible, but we cannot risk the health and safety of our staff, our students, and our community. Please comply with this request and help us to keep everyone safe and healthy so that we can continue to provide this service. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
