Transportation Changes for January 24-28, 2022
Good afternoon,
This message contains information about important changes to transportation this week. Again, I apologize for the late notice this morning and for the inconvenience of these changes. Unfortunately, we are going to have to make some additional changes this afternoon and for the rest of this week. We will be temporarily reassigning some bus drivers. I just want to take a moment to thank our bus drivers for their flexibility and willingness to help out, not only with our current situation, but always.
Here are the changes:
We will be combining Tiffany's and Tabby’s routes. Tiffany will transport this afternoon and for the rest of this week both morning and afternoon. This means pick up and drop off times will have to be adjusted significantly in some cases. Each route will reverse their pick up and drop off order. We can’t give an exact time until she has driven this route, so please be patient.
Mr. Zaiser will be driving Rose’s route this afternoon and for the rest of this week both morning and afternoon, so pick up and drop off times should remain about the same.
For this afternoon, Brian Kreps will be driving Jeanette's and Joyce’s routes. He will first take Joyce’s route which will run 5-10 minutes later than normal. Then, he will come back to school and run Jeanette’s route. Unfortunately, this means that route will run even later, but I am unable to give you an exact drop off time.
For the rest of the week, starting tomorrow, Bob will drive Jeanette’s route, so pick up and drop off times should remain about the same.
For tomorrow, another driver will drive Joyce’s route when he/she finishes his/her normal route. This means students on Joyce’s bus will be picked up later than normal in the morning and will be dropped off 5-10 minutes later in the afternoon. Joyce will resume driving her route on Wednesday.
For the rest of the week, both morning and afternoon, we will be combining Bob’s and Karissa’s routes. Karissa will drive this route. Again, this means pick up and drop off times will have to be adjusted. We won’t be able to give an exact time until she has driven this route, so please be patient.
We will be making some adjustments to the shuttles as well as we will only have two shuttles rather than three.
Lots of unavoidable changes for which I am very sorry. Because of the unpredictability of the times on these routes, if you would prefer to bring your child to school this week, please feel free to do so and let your child’s school know of this change. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate through these changes this week.
